BMT Charity Efforts

Giving Back to Our Nation's Heroes & Inspiring Future STEM Scholars

At BMT Consulting, service does not end in the boardroom. Founded and led by a Disabled Navy Veteran, we invest our time, sponsorship and tournament resources into two charitable efforts that make a lifelong impact.

Alger County Veterans Golf Tournament

In 2020, at Pictured Rocks Golf Course, an idea took shape in Alger County — one rooted in service, gratitude and community pride. Arland Brock and team created a golf outing with a simple mission:

“Give back to the veterans who gave everything.”

What started as an idea has become an annual tradition. Every dollar raised through green fees, hole sponsorships, raffles and team participation goes directly to four veteran organizations:

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)

Veterans' rights, emergency relief grants and local post fellowship.

The American Legion

Community mentorship, youth programs and support for active-duty personnel.

Vietnam Veterans of America

Healthcare, toxic exposure advocacy and dignity for Vietnam veterans.

Marine Corps League

Assisting Marine families, Marines in need, and Toys for Tots.
